Zen meditation and mindfulness sessions:

• For beginners or experienced - all are welcome.

• We are a small, friendly, group of lay zen practitioners who like to keep things simple and gentle.

• We practice based in the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

• All sessions are free to attend.

Open to everyone...
from beginners to more experienced practitioners.
Our meditation and mindfulness sessions are friendly, relaxed, and easy to follow - we keep things simple.They are led by our group facilitator, all you need to do is show up.•••

Our meditation sessions usually follow this format:

Welcome - 5 mins, sometimes with a cup of tea or coffee.

Guided Meditation - 10 to 20 mins
and / or
Silent Meditation - 10 to 20 mins

Sitting or sharing - 10 mins
We end the session with some quiet sitting - or with an optional sharing session for anyone who wishes to speak whilst others practice deep listening.There is no obligation to say anything if you do not wish to.

Session Times

• We usually meet once or twice per month.• Unlike some groups, we do not have fixed days or times to meet. This is because many of our members have variable schedules, and some are in different times zones, so the flexibility works well.• We send out session times via email to our members with a zoom link for each upcoming session.• Invites are usually sent around a week in advance, but recently we have also been sending out some additional 'last minute' session invites for when the opportunity arises for an extra meditation session - this has worked well!
